My name is Max. I’m a [current_year] – 1980 -year old male from Michigan. I speak fluent Russian. I like to write code, listen to heavy metal, and travel. My wife and I moved to Texas in 2006, we bought a house a year later, and we’re loving it.
I am hugely into old German diesels, so I own and maintain 300sd.com, a site dedicated to my awesome 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300SD.
I started howtobepoor.com as a personal finance blog, but it turned into my personal portal where I discuss topics loosely related to a subject of making money or attempting to not be poor. The title of the site means “How To Get By While You’re Poor“, not “How To Attempt to Become Poor“.
I believe in lifelong learning, so whenever I learn something new, I post it. Enjoy!
