For some reason those are really attractive to me, probably b/c they stand out. I think iTunes is slow mostly on PCs with P-ATA hard drives. While I haven't tested it on PCs with SATA HD, my Mac with a SATA runs iTunes incredibly fast. The reason I noticed is because before I switched, I used to hate it's laggy performance as well.
