So I bought one from the store that looked about right... closest match i could find. Turns out it was the bag, two pieces of cardboard, and some kind of latex film laminated together.. So I took a razor blade to it to try and separate the laminations.. tried cutting away the cardboard... and in the end only had a ruined bag. Totally lame. My problem was that the hose was oval shaped and really too big for the cardboard. Could have forced it, but would have resulted in lots of mess throughout the house. We get it so ingrained in our system that a certain product is supposed to work a certain way that we end up throwing away a lot of perfectly good items because they don't fit our "how to use" image.
